Eltham Dandenong Junior Basketball Tournament
After holding the largest number of entries from an academy in 2026, taking a massive 27 teams, Swisherr Hoops Academy are planning on taking 16 teams to the Eltham Dandenong Junior Basketball Tournament which will be held in Melbourne from January 22nd-25th, 2027
Join us to compete on a national stage in the world's largest junior basketball tournaments. This is more than a tournament, it's a high performance experience designed to challenge, develop and inspire.
2027 will be Swisherr's 3rd year competing in the EDJBT and our 6th interstate tour meaning head coaches have a great understanding of the competition levels and have built a close connection with tournament directors to ensure teams get entered in competitive divisions best for their development.
We are therefore planning on entering a select few of these 16 teams into the A grade division to give athletes at this level the opportunity to play against some of the strongest competitors in the country. Other teams will be placed into the most appropriate division based off the comprehensive grading system.

Trials
This tour is highly competitive and in order to be able to be selected athletes must register to trial in their closest region (Hobart, Launceston or Somerset). The number of teams entered will be strictly capped this year so don't miss out on this opportunity
